U-POL ACID#8 1K Acid Etch Primer
U-POL ACID#8 is a fast-drying, one-component acid etch primer formulated to promote excellent paint adhesion on difficult substrates, including galvanised steel and aluminium.
It is particularly useful for treating small rub-through areas where bare metal has been exposed during primer preparation. ACID#8 creates a super-smooth protective surface that can be directly overcoated, helping to streamline the refinishing process while providing excellent corrosion resistance.
The ready-to-use aerosol makes it ideal for spot repairs, localised priming and areas that are difficult to cover with conventional spray equipment.

Application
Ensure the substrate is clean, dry, degreased and correctly prepared. Apply light, even coats to exposed metal and allow the recommended flash-off time before overcoating. Always follow the technical data sheet and confirm compatibility with the chosen paint system.
